This was a labor of love. I was actually intimidated to begin and had to wait a day to build up the courage to draw this. It's just such a busy picture compared to what I'm used to.

Lately, I've been trying to do portraits and pop art that isn't the same as everyone else. So when it came to Heath Ledger, I didn't want to be one of the hundreds of people on DA that draws this picture. No offense to those who did. A lot of them are really good. I just wanted to do something unique. This is a pencil drawing of Vincent Fantauzzo's painting of Heath Ledger. It's such a hauntingly tragic painting, I really wanted to draw it.

2H, H, HB, 2B pencils
blending tortillion

when I first saw it, I thought that on his right side he looks more like Val Kilmer, and on his left like Johnny Depp...
